The International Odd Fellow meetings

These meetings are a lodge level activity, which has its roots in the 1980’s and now meetings are arranged every other year in different countries organized by a local Odd Fellow lodge. There are more than 50 lodges from 10 countries involved and all Odd Fellow sisters and brothers with their accompanying partners/friends are welcomed to these gatherings.

Next International Odd Fellow Meeting

will be held Friday 12 April – Saturday 13 April 2024 in Breda, Netherlands. It will be hosted by the lodge nr 94 Turfschiploge.

We are all here in the wonderful town of Hildesheim together in the spirit of Odd Fellow.
To make meetings like this to continue for the feature I will give to the Roland-lodge this fiery cross to pass on to the next lodge in the long chain of lodges in charge of arrange a meeting like this.
This fiery cross has on its outside the colors of the 4 levels of Odd Fellow education system. White is the first one and the top-level is the red one. These colors are also to be seen on your regalia.

Odd Fellow is not just the outside of you. The Real ODD FELLOW is the inside of you.
Here inside is a document telling you of the lodges before you, in the chain of lodges in charge of arrange meetings like this.
To get more people to share our ideas.

This ODD FELLOW SPIRIT will help all of us to a greater TOLERANCE.

The speech which the distinguished brother Lars Stridsberg gave in Hildesheim in 2016 while handing over the "baton" for the International Odd Fellow Meetings. This fiery cross is here on picture handed over from Andreas Lüers Roland lodge in Hildesheim to Erkki Savijoja no. 24 Kuninkaanportti in Helsinki.

Odd Fellows International Meetings

The intention is to arrange a meeting every second year.
The mission to meet brothers and sisters is expected to be organised,
if possible, by new lodges and in a new country every time.
It has to be fulfilled in the spirit of Odd Fellow.
