Information desk will be open at the entrance lobby of the hotel Gran Marina on Friday 8 June from 12:00 onwards and on Saturday 9 June from 9:00 onwards. Participants are expected to pick up a registration package from the information desk in Friday afternoon. The package includes e.g. the invitation card for the reception of the mayor of the Helsinki city.

- Introduction of the premises of Finnish speaking Odd Fellow communities in Helsinki
Mayor’s reception
- The venue is the Empire hall, which is the most beautiful space at the town hall of the Helsinki city
Friday’s buffet dinner
- An informal get-together event for mingle, meet old friends and get new ones, a buffet dinner available
Saturday morning
- The idea is to form small groups, 5 – 7 people, according to the interest of the participants. Each group will explore the site they have selected and the group will be led by one or two brothers of the Kuninkaanportti lodge
Fest Lodge
- The venue is right on a water front of the Baltic Sea and just cross the road from the hotel Grand Marina. The Fennia hall is on the second floor. From 5:00 PM a bar (on one’s own expense) will be open on the second floor. The cloakroom service is available on the first floor until the midnight. The evening restaurant Marine is on the same floor next to the Fennia hall.
Gala dinner
- The venue is nearby on the same floor, where the fest lodge takes place. The three course dinner will be served to the tables. If one likes to have a word here, it should be limited to 5 minutes and it should be agreed beforehand with the organizers (nobel grand or past grand of the Kuninkaanportti lodge). It would be most convenient, if one could agree this already before the event by e-mail (24.YM()oddfellow.fi)
The Suomenlinna/ Sveaborg tour
- Suomenlinna (https://www.suomenlinna.fi/en) is the sea fortress at 15 minutes ferry journey from the market square. Suomenlinna fortress from mid-1700 century is on the UNESCO World Heritage List as a unique monument of military architecture. Another special feature of the fortress is that in the course of its history it has served in the defence of three independent states: Sweden, Russia and Finland. Moreover, it continues to be a lively and inhabited district of the city of Helsinki. The World Heritage Site includes seven islands.
- The idea is that we will take a boat ride from the market square to the King’s Gate of Suomenlinna – btw our lodge is named after the King’s Gate (= Kuninkaanportti in Finnish). From there we will have a tour on the islands with an official Suomenlinna guide. After the round tour we can have a common lunch in one of the restaurants on the islands.
